Nature Club supervised by Mr. Leiser is divided into two groups. Nature 1 is for sev- enth grade students, and Nature II for eighth and ninth grades. These alternate weekly business meetings are where they decide on trips they will take. Trips planned included going to Franklin, N. J. , for fluorescent minerals. This Gym leaders ' Club with Mrs. Pantuso as sponsor, specialized in training girls, athletically inclined, to be assistants in Physical Education classes. Refereeing games, keeping order, and taking care of necessary gym equipment, were some of their re- sponsibilities. This club enabled girls interested in sports, to become qualified and capable leaders. 70
