The staff of THE DELAWARE presents this 1963 volume with pride. We hope you will find pleasure in leafing through these pages both now and in the years to come. For the second year our staff members, selected from grades seven to twelve, have functioned as a club. We have endeavored to record for you those familiar activities and classroom scenes which will help you recall the pleasant days of your high school career. MR. ALBERT F. HEBERLIG We are proud to dedicate the 1963 DELAWAEIE to a teacher who has been in our school system for more than thirty years. Mr. Heberlig began his teaching career in Matamoras following his gradu- ation from Shippensburg State College in 1929. His continued service to this school system has made our aca- demic mathematics department one of the best in the state. For many years, Mr. Heberlig has sponsored the Conservation Club. This service club has greatly improved our school grounds through clearing, pest control, and replanting. As Student Council advisor, Mr. Heberlig has contributed an- other immeasurable service to our school. Many Student Councils have gratefully known his guidance. The students managed the Coun- cil, and yet Mr. Heberlig was always there to help and advise. Thank you, Mr. Heberlig.
