Animal Husbandry New Pole Barn Built At Farm 3 The 1979-80 academic year has been porriculorly noreoble for the Animal Husbandry deparrmenr. Of foremost impor- ronce is rhe new pole born or Farm 3. This born will house all rhe carrle, provide reaching space and room for special senior projects, Ir includes a feed-mill room and a room for hondling and washing rhe animals. This building was mode possible through rhe donorion of Mr. Kennerh Gemmill, o member of rhe board of rrusrees, and his wife. This was also the firsr year for the Equestrian ream ro hove on official cooch, Mrs. Susan Clark, of Milesrone Form. This raises rhe teom ' s stotus ro that of intercollegiate level. The Lob Animal Club was ocrively established this yeor. It wos on outgrowth of the interest of students porricipating in the four-course package in lobororory onimal science offered by the deparrmenr Complerion of rhese courses qualifies students for positions as lob animal handlers ond prepores them for rhe Americon Sociery of Laboratory Animal Science Technicion Exom.
