There are challenges in sales, marketing, personnel mamagement, finanj imerce, accounting, advertising and insurance. The prosperity of our country depends on effective and innovative product] management methods and the necessary information, systjams. The opportunities and challenges in Chemistry and Biology are immense. We need much better and more economical he e systems. Research and development if new synthetic products will make America more self-sufficient. We will soon be ; produce synthetic oil in an economical manner whAltlWlllalielp to preserve and conserve our national resources for fuj erations. New advances will be made in the pharmaceutical, chemical and agricultural fields, he economical conversion of waste productriolQ fuql fertilizer or filler products will require the expertise of Cher ogists and other scientists. New methods of biological c ' oVitnfl ' Sr pests must be developed to minimize potential hazard man beings, plants and animals. Economical methods for desalinization of water from the oceans and lakes must be develj insure adequate supplies for consumption and irrigation.
