SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS To my fellow classmates, As I reflect upon the four year ' s of my life spent at Delaware Valley College, my attention focuses not on just a few major highlights, but rather on the whole gamut of experiences that have made these the most memorable years of my life. It would be impossible to enumerate all of those experiences, and yet the result of them all is by far the most important; it is the purpose of going to college. If we do nothing at all in our hves. there is at least one goal that each of us should have in mind. And to borrow a phrase used frequently by one of my teachers, Mr. John Barnes, that goal is to ' become a whole man. Delaware Valley, I believe, has done its part in helping us to reach that goal, by requir- ing us to reahze certain responsibilities, and by giving us the opportunity to accept certain other responsibihties. Now it is up to us, indiWdually, to utihze the foundations we have laid down. Whether we continue to build, or become stagnant, is a matter of per- sonal choice. The degree ear-ned at graduation does not mean instant success in life, but it is a v -itness to our ambitions and Ls a key to many doors. Success comes with the proper attitude, the willingness to work hard, and an apprecia- tion for the things we ' ve attained. I sincerely wish the best for all of us.
