July 2, 1962 Doctor James Work President Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture Doylestown, Pennsylvania Dear Doctor Work: It is indeed a pleasure to tell you that following a study of the Progress Report presented by the College, the Commission has voted to add Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture to the accredited list and to admit it to membership in the Middle States Association. By carbon copy of this letter I am notifying the Secretary of the Middle States Association, Dean ELwood C. Kastner of New York University to add Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture to the membership roll and the Association Treasurer, Mr. Oliver C. Melchior, to bill the College for its annual dues. Please be assured that the Commission, its Chairman and its Executive Secretary stand ready to assist Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture by consultation or by other appropriate means at any time. FOREWORD We, the Class of 1963, present this yearbook as a pictorial spokesman of Delaware Valley College. The contents of the pages with- in present to you the College as we have known it, and as it is to- day. Some of the changes that have taken place during our pres- ence here are not made evident through pictorial display. One such change is the recent accredi- tation of our College. The impact of this single event signals a new look in the future growth and de- velopment of the College. The years of preparation that lead up to accreditation are as deserving of recognition as is the achieve- ment of this goal.

DEDICATION We exhibit with pride the formal notification received by the College on June 23, 1962. This achievement exemplifies the GROWTH and PROGRESS the College has made in recent years. To those who made ac- creditation possible we are deeply grateful. The success of graduates from Del- aware Valley College in business and in gradu- ate schools is pointed to with pride. Now the College sends forth men with an added stamp of approval.
