FOREWORD Together we entered the gates and together we found the problems of adjusting to college life difficult. We all will remember the days when we first took on the responsibility of becoming men. Our first friends be- came our lasting friends, and a sense of kinship sparked us to think and act as a unit. We took upon ourselves the task of becoming learned men. As we learned more, we realized we knew less. As we moved through our college term, we each determined and worked toward our goal in life, and pursued our interests accordingly. Throughout this movement, our experiences began to accumulate and take on new meanings. Thus we achieved a depth of mind, soul, and body, which will never be equalled. Perhaps here, in this book these accomplishments will be immortalized to us and our families, and long after each has pursued his own way of life, unite us again in reminiscence of our full college life. Thus the 1959 Cornucopia has been designed to project the reader into our past, as recorded on the following pages. 1959

THE 1959 Cornucopia Is dedicated to the people of Doylestown and the communities surrounding the campus who have opened the doors of their homes, their Churches, their places of business, and their recreational facilities to the students of the National Agricultural College; and who have unselfishly supported its publications, its sports, and its expansion. We earnestly hope that we, in our own communities, will be able to instill these attitudes to the same degree that they have been shown to us.
