Eddie introduced truckin ' tc Farm School a long time before the craze hit Harlem. His walk and grin afforded us many enjoyable evenings during a dull summer. Coming from a family of Magistrates he found it easy to abide by laws. A true dairyman at heart, Eddie spent all of his time either being nursemaid to the airls at the dairy or lying in bed in his three-timing clothes bull sessioning. His big grin and recitation of The Face on the Bar Room Floor has brought laughter to dances for three years. Adept at playing any instrument, Bartell can beat out a mean trumpet. His endeavors never went unnoticed. Dances would have been very dull without him for not only did he help supply the entertainment and music, but the girls as well. Slim came to school weighing 149 pounds and with a disposition as sweet as a six-year-old and never a day of athletics in his life. Under Sam ' s tutelage he went up to 180 pounds and acquired a mean disposition as well as earning his football and basketball letters for two years.
