SENIOR PLAY Court Clerk, Paul Saia, swears in a jury selected from the audience as Bob Platshorn. DA. plots his plan of action for the ensuing court The Night of Ianuary 16th , a lively courtroom drama, proved to be an excellent selection for the first senior play. Presented March 18th and 19th, the play was well-received by audiences who themselves became enmeshed in the sus- penseful plot of the murder of a wealthy businessman. Of two possible suspects. the secretary and the wife of the deceased, his secretary was forced to stand trial. On both evenings, sympathetic iuries rendered a decision of not guilty. Guilty or not guilty, all members of the cast demonstrated a near-professional manner acquired from the able direction of Mr. Iohn Collins and Mr. William Flemming. faculty advisors. A complete crew of backstage workers enhanced the abili- ties of the aspiring dramatists with appropriate setting, make- up and costuming.
