The Junior Varsity gained a great deal of experience under Coach Gallo which will be of value in their junior and senior years. 27

Hopkin . D. Smith. Another very successful baseball season was produced by Delavan. The hard-hitting Comets won three and lost two contests, beating Whitewater twice and Elkhorn once. Captain Roy Isoz led the team in hittinq in most of the games. Coach Schultz built his team around eight returning lettermen of the 1946 season. Davis. Mueller. J. McClellan. Flahive, R. Evans. Hopkins. Madison, and R. McClellan, the latter three being seniors. The 48 season has high prospects because of the large number of returning lettermen.
