Don Smith Mr. Kleyensteuber This year the Student Council composed of all class officers, again sponsored Homecoming, which was a huge success—even though it had to be postponed because of rain. The activities included o snake dance, bonfire, parade, presentation of prizes, and crowning of the Queen, Ruthie Crowe, at the Homecoming dance. A great amount of work and time was spent on a constitution for the Council. Many urgently needed improvements, as a new voting and nominating system and reorganization of the Council, were included. The Student Council was also responsible for organizing boys’ bowling teams and three mixer dances.
