Two of these three defeats were at the hands of Beloit, who later became State Champions. The squad received added experience at the state tournament in Madison. October 22—Miss Ethel Apenfels, anthropologist (bone expert, to you, pal) of the University of Chicago delivered an interesting lecture to our happy throng. November 1—Mr. Sam Grathwell, an F. B. November 3—Sodie Howkins Dance, with Fingers ond Nancy Thiering grobbing honors os Doisy Moe and iil Abner. November 4—Whot could it be that the Lake Geneva fellos see in our hep III' town? (Please refer to B. A. and A. F.). November 16—The Dromat Club pul on The Summons of Sariel in Oregon and received deserving acclaim ond on A rating. November 22. 23— Here Comes Heaven Agoin, with two whole doys of Thanksgiving Vacotion. November 29— The Summons of Sariel was presented for the students and very well received. December 5—They've done it ogoin. Sariel, under the direction of Mrs. Duchac, won at the Stole One-Act Ploy Contest. December 7—Delovan bites the dust ot the bonds of Elkhorn 33-23. December 10—Mr. Kteyensteuber returns from his duties in the Army Air Force Weather Station in Arizono, lo lake the General's place, who is now o personnel manoger at Borgs. Good luck lo both of them. December I 1—lions Club starts on Essay Contest on how to beoutify Delovan. December 1 2—Christmas Concert presented by the Vocol Dept. December 13—Canned food drive for starving Europeans . . . Chos. Schmoling, exec. December 14—Delovan loses a real good gome to the lake Geneva team, 38-25. February 12—Sub Debs held their annual Valentine's party tonight ot Kali Flood's house. Februory 29—The Senior Class turned out some sleek deols today os the girls pushed their hair atop their heads ond donned suits ond stockings. March 6— There once was a man named Gee.
