The forty-five members met every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday during the Activity Period. Accompanists were Bonny Harris and Jene Hibbard. The officers this yere were Rita von Gnechten, president; Don August, vice-president; Alice Fleming, secretary-treasurer. The choir was kept busy practicing selections for the Christmas Concert, World Day of Prayer, Spring Concert and the music festival in May. 29

They were directed by Jackie Elithorp. The highlight of the season for the cheerleaders was a meeting held at the Colonial Hotel on November 30. This will be an annual event for all cheerleaders in our conference so that they may become better acquainted and be better cheerleaders.
