Senior. Hand This year “General lee's ' band has been doing the best work of its career. The bond led the Homecoming parade and marched and played at all the home football games. About thirty members, accompanied by Mr. lee, attended the Boston Symphony in Milwaukee in the fall. In January the following people were selected to play in a picked band from southern Wisconsin: Joyce Bailey, Jene Hibbard. Colleen Schauer, Shirley Kroll, Dick Homan, Joe Brost, and Don August. The first concert was given in December. At this concert the band presented Mr. Lee with an identification bracelet. A concert was also given in early May. The band ployed in the music festival on May 1 2 in Class B. 26
