Feeling that overcrowding in our school is a serious problem, the school board set out to rectify the situation. They proposed a $1.4 million expansion program. Originally, the expansion was to Include an auxiliary gym, vocational education classrooms, instructional materials center and an addition to the cafeteria. Voter opposition, however, brought the program to a referendum. The school board cut the expansion program to include only the I. M. C. and the cafeteria addition. F.vcn With the reduction, voters rejected the building program. Space is still at a premium in the high school. Hopefully new efforts will be made to rectify the situation. 1.
