Carolyn Boviall, Jean Lenz, and Jeanette Yungerman are in the lunch line. Familiar to the students at D-DHS are Miss Zitko and Mrs. Peters, the office secretaries. Some of their duties are selling lunch tickets, answering the telephone, filing, typing, making announcements, and assisting students and teachers. The school accountant and school sec -retary are in the superintendent's office. They are Mrs. Knight, Board of Education secretary, and Mrs. Vaughn, the accountant. 11 Mrs. Kathleen Knight and Mrs. Anne Vaughn arc at work in their office at 412 Walworth Avenue. Miss Diane Zitko and Mr. John Peters, the school sec retaries, in the school office.

Mrs. Dora Kooistra, Mrs. Edith Siert, Mrs. Evelyn Wendorf, and Mrs. Mildred Hipp arc shown at the left serving lunch to the students. Mrs. Bernice Seibert, the other cook, is not pictured. They Maintain High Standards D-DHS custodians, pictured above, arc Mr. Clarence Wiser, Mr. Marlyn Fehrm, and Mr. Willard Wendorf. Mrs. Siert, Mrs. Hipp, Mrs. Kooistra, Mrs. Wendorf, and Mrs. Seibert are the five cooks at D-DHS. They are responsible for the meals served to the students everyday. Some of their duties include preparing menus and the meals, making reports, ordering food and other supplies, and serving the meals. They work hard to please the students in their likes and dislikes for certain foods. Mr. Wiser, Mr. Wendorf, and Mr. Fehrm are the Mr. Fixits at D-DHS. They keep the school and grounds clean and in excellent shape. Mr. James Christianson was employed as the Building and Grounds Supervisor. This was the first year that this system was used. He is in charge of all maintenance and all the school equipment. Mr. Christianson is also a member of the faculty, teaching engineering drawing. 10
