FOREWORD This year we are very happy to have Freddie, our school mascot, introduce the 1962 Era. Freddie came into being last year when the cheerleaders and members of the football squad felt the need for a school mascot. It certainly was a wise decision, for Freddie has come to symbolize the tremendous school spirit which follows our team wherever they might be. Along with building up the spirit, Freddie has helped to make posters and present clever skits at pep meetings which have certainly been a great factor in cheering our teams to victory. Because we believe that school spirit extends beyond the phase of athletics, we feel justified in having Freddie introduce the various sections of the Era . TO OUR ALMA MATER, SHALL WE ALL BE TRUE, EVER WE PRAISE THE GOLD AND BLUE. HAIL TO THE VARSITY, HAIL TO VICTORY, HAIL ALMA MATER, HAIL ALL HAIL TO THEE. 2
