FRESHMEN Sally Smith Arlene Baldwin Mary Boviall Joan Conley Eugene Hejhal Donna Heller Betty Jacobs Ncllane Koele Clarice Logterman Mary Ellen Merril Dorothy Michaelson Joan Oleston Rosalie Redenius Carol Stuver Donald Suhr Patsy Veley Bernice Wilkins The Freshmen class chose for their president, Sally Smith, Donna Heller was elected vice president. The secretary is Patsy Veley. Mary Merrill is the class treasurer, and Eugene Hejhal is the representative on the Student Council. On October 1, 1954, the class entered a float in the Homecoming Parade. The theme was Stick Up For Darien. The float won second prize in the contest. Don Suhr and Mary Boviall represented the class on the court for the dance that evening. On October 19, they gave the Sophomores a return party. They gave them this party because of the nice initiation party the Sophomores gave them. Some of the many activities for the year consisted of food sales, roller skating parties, Halloween party. 20

The officers are President: Jerry Conley, Vice President: Dale Beardsley, Secretary: Donna Putman, Treasurer: Jerry Packard, Class Representative: Tommu Krueger, Class Advisor: Miss Gosso. Some of the activities were: the initiation party on September 22. a box social on November 18, both were in the gym, a roller skating party on January 27. a St. Patrick's dance on March 17, a bake sale uptown, on February 19 and two food sales, on Oct. 31 and April M.
