Fore word - We, of the Del-Ano, feel that the four walls of the classroom should be extended to include the resources of the entire com- munity and, in turn, the world. All our com- munity and our world, in reality, should be our classroom. In this modern age, peace can be obtained only through understanding, and understanding can be gained only through education. To promote international under- standing and world peace, we extend the hand of friendship across the sea to Asti, Italy, our sister city. One should study and learn more about the place where he lives and its relationship to his state, his nation, and his world. It is the function ofthe school to provide guidance and access to that knowledge. Likewise, it is the student's obligation to seek a better edu- cation in order to contribute toward a better society.
