Winning first prize in the DEL-ANO Review, of many fine acts, Freddie Mendoza brought down the house with his rendition of Billy's Blues. Miss Mary Salber's lucky English III classes visited the Los Angeles Times, Huntington Library, and a per- formance of My Fair Lady on their june 1 trip to Los Angeles. Dreamy strains of music come to mind in remember- ing the junior-Senior Prom held under the sea in Nep- tune's Court. The traditional formal was held for the first time off campus and in the National Guard Ar- mory on May 18. May 2 was the date of the PTA Barbeque and De- lano High Open House, termed by all a great success. The seniors were hosted by the juniors on a Treas- ure Island at the junior-Senior Banquet April 11. Four years of high school were climaxed for the Class of '57 at the graduation ceremonies held on june 7. land at the Junior-Senior Banquet.
