Ramon The year 1973-74 will be looked back upon as a significant one in the history of Del Rio High School. We have the largest student body the school has ever had. The curriculum has been expand- ed, and the faculty has a higher academic standing. We have attained Number One status in con- solidation, scholastics, and athletics. l challenge you, who return next year, to keep alive the friendliness and cooperation you have demonstrated this year. To you who graduate, and to others who will not be back, remember that this is your school. Wherever you go, may you be loyal representatives of Del Rio High School. f if ' S Superintendent-O. B. As a daily routine, we've been there at each pace of our Senior year, but as i turn each page and see all the familiar faces we relive those golden moments. We hope you will be able to reli every moment again as we have. We were privileged to have been able to work on the Senior Section for we are Seniors and we were able express the Senior Class feelings as well as our own for we were there at each moment. We have put many ha working hours into our section but we feel it was all worth it. We hope we have been able to capture most our Senior moments for it is impossible to have captured them all. As we proofread our final pages we find it very difficult to believe we are finished, we only wish you will e joy it as much as we have enjoyed working on it. We didn't have much to work with but we feel we did c best. We would like to thank Mr. Stough for being very patient with us. Q, theart In Memory Cf Jesse Lee Hernandez, Sr. '74 Graduation. It is the beginning and the end. It was the reason school began in the fall and it brings the school ar to a close. Graduation is a happy time and yet a sad one. Remember when someone cared enough to help you with your ork when you came to a problem that seemed to have no answer. Remember when someone close to you ve you encouragement and hope when you almost threw your hands up and said I give up! Remember all e special someones whom you have run into on your long twelve year journey through school. Remembering all that is left now. The world has opened up her arms and accepted this years graduating Seniors into her pen wilderness. Our friends throughout many years are going their separate ways. Graduation is the last time I the Seniors come together and the first time we try our wings to see if, after twelve years of preparation, we n fly. We question. Will I fly and soar above the mountains and valleys, or will I crash and break a wing that nly time can heal? We are going from a well trodded path into a wilderness. Will we survive? We will! We have e knowledge, confidence, hope and encouragement given to us by our new found friends. We have been ven the tools that will make us successful. We will succeed and triumph. We will accomplish things undream- of. After graduation there will be tears of joy and bliss and tears of sadness. Congratulations Seniors! You have complished your first giant step of your life.
