They worked constantly on their routines to reach perfection and present the best per- formance possible. They drew posters which added to the spirit at school as well at the games. They backed the teams all the way in victory and defeat. The girls were under the direc- tion of Mrs. Janie Nicholson. The Del Rio Dolls were organized in the spring of l967 and have represented Del Rio High School at various civic even as well as at football and basketball games. The girls in this organization not only have beauty and dancing ability but mu also maintain good citizenship and high academic standing. The Dolls must work long hours in order to perfect their routin N and maintain the high standards that are expected of them. Throughout these years the Dolls have represented their schoa and community in a truly outstanding manner. This marks the last year for both the Dolls and the Senoritas, as they are to be combined and renamed next year. Thoug this is the final year for both drill teams it is not the end for the high standards and perfection we have come to expect fror them. Y -Q' 43 High Stepping Seioritas Formed in 1968, the High-Stepping Senoritas have represented San Felipe High and Del Rio High this year at football games and other school functions. Composed of girls with beauty, dancing ability, and natural friendliness, they create an air of open cheerfulness. The Senoritas are assisted by their sponsor, Mrs. Owens. Though this is the final year for both drill teams it is not the end for the high standards and perfection we have come to expect from the drill team.
