Counselors help determine futures The school counselors are, in many ways, the most important administra- tors because of the advice they give many students to determine future occupations and vocations. Mrs. Lyall Davis and Mrs. Patricia Risser are always eager to help students with their problems. The most important aspect of counseling is the testing program. A wide range of tests are given to stu- dents of all grade levels and the results of these tests are the basis for deter- mining appropriate courses, colleges, and careers. Mrs. Davis works with juniors and seniors. Those who plan to continue their education take the col- lege entrance examinations, ACT and SAT tests. Juniors take an acheive- ment test and may take NMSQT and PSAT tests. Mrs. Risser helps freshmen and sophomores chose courses which will be most helpful in meeting college entrance requirements and career plans. Freshmen take an apptitude test and sophomores take a preference t6S'E. 1 5 Y Q as , fm-am 'Q W ag ..+ in :E sa 2 A .ef lei MRS.
