He displayed his interest in science by being a lab assistant both junior and senior years. He was the track team's manager for 1964-65. ,auf JANET LITTRELL, winner of the DAR Good Citizenship Award, also received Phi Beta Kappa's award for Outstanding Senior Scholar. She was active in Student Council, serving on Round Table her senior year. Janet was chairman of the Senior Class Ways and Means Committee, a member of the Charter Committee, and a Senior Senator. A delegate to Girl's State, Janet was a member of the Stater's Club, as well as Vice President of National Honor Society' and President of NFL. She was in All-State Symphonic Band. l s JAN MINAGAWA was chosen the Outstanding Biology Student at Del Norte for her interest in that field. She was a member of the biology research team for two years, attended the Youth Conference on the Atom in Chi- cago, and the NFS Summer Institute at the University of Texas. Jan was a representative to Student Council for two years, serving on the Activities Commmittee, the Round Table, and was Chairman of the Landscaping Committee her junior year. She was a member of the National Honor Society, French Club, and Math Club. She received the Optimist Citizenship Award For Del Norte in her senior year. A major in either Cellular or Molecular Biology is jan's plan for her future at UNM.
