MRS. LAVOLA BURGESS, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL As Del Norte's Assistant Principal, Mrs. Burgess is. the person primarily responsible for planning our fine cur- riculum. ENGLISH DEPARTMENT The door to the world itself, its educational values, its business opportunities and its social contracts are fulfilled by the English Deg partment at Del Norte. The aim of the English Department is to prepare students for the future, whether they be college-bound or seek a vocational position in life. Interest in the subject is promoted through informative films and lectures. Every facet of the subject itself is covered.
