Night before last, when I was in bed, I dreamed about what it would be like to be a weed. It seemed like a pretty good dream because weeds never seem to have a care in the world. All yesterday, I was thinking how great being a weed would be. I could sway freely, back and forth in the wind. I could absorb all the rain and sunshine., The thought of reigning over all the smaller weeds and plants is really kind of exciting. But last night, my bubble was burst. I had a nightmare about being a weed. There's always that constant worry of being picked by some little old lady who thinks you're fbeautiful, or being hacked down by some gardener, whose job it is to get rid of you and Cousin Harry and Franky and Aunt P Martha... Then there's always the chance that some bratty little kid Cthere's one in every his grubby little fingers .peel off all your seeds.
