It seemed like a pretty good dream because weeds never seem to have a care in the world. All yesterday, I was thinking how great being a weed would be. I could sway freely, back and forth in the wind. I could absorb all the rain and sunshine., The thought of reigning over all the smaller weeds and plants is really kind of exciting. But last night, my bubble was burst. I had a nightmare about being a weed. A goddess rode by-on a beautiful crimson unicorn whose golden horn sparkled in the sunlight. Trinkets hung from his silver saddle. As for the goddess, she wore a flaming red gown. Fire danced all about her. I heard the hooves of the unicorn pound against the red bubbles. It reminded me of thunder. Just then I saw a grasshopper taxi. It waslpicking up two Tasmanian wolves on their way to a picnic of caribou. My eggplant turned off the red soap bubble road onto a spiderweb bridge. I had to pay a toll of three bugs or the spider would eat me. I' As we crossed the bridge my eggplant turned into a catfish. He took me underwater. As I went lower I saw a castle made of white coral. My catfish disappeared. Four dolphins came over to me and told me to get on their backs. Each wore a halter made of seaweed. Gliding swiftly through the coral castle and down a long hall, they finally left me in a huge sea shell room. It was a magnificent sight. The room was filled with goldfish standing on their tails. iThey dressed me in a beautiful cloak and told me to ride in the golden rickshaw that was pulled by three chestnut ponies. 'They would take me to King Neptune. There he sat, playing an organ. He wore a crown made of Mother gf Pearl and a cape of woven green seaweed Shells were entwined within the stichings. Mermaids with tails of green came toward me carrying a wreath of flowers. One mermaid slipped it around my head. I felt so beautiful.
