CCUN Studies Work of nited ations Del Mar students interested in the work of 'the United Nations and its affiliated agencies found the Collegiate Council of the United Nations a natural outlet for their energies. This Viking organization studied the workings of the United Nations in order to acquire a better understanding of the UN's goals and aims in this cold war world. The club's members achieved their goal of knowledge about the United Nations through studying various materials supplied the club by adult organizations. President of the Del Mar chapter of the Collegiate Council of the United Nations was Bob LaDouceur. Serving the organization as vice-president was Vance Williams. Representing the CCUN group on the Student Council of Del Mar was Roland Volk. Bob LaDouceur and Beverly Mendleski explain U.N. Human Rights Week to May Ponce, Brook Crawford.
