Talented Led by Dave Klingensmith and Bill Hurst, the varsity tennis team should do well this year. A winning tradition should help push the Cougars to the championship, as Del Campo has won the title two out of the last three years. Coach Eli McCullough is optimistic, and under his direction the team could capture the crown. Fine players such as Paul Medved, Steve Beckman, and Jim Diffin add depth and ability to the Cougar team. This year the championship will be determined against Rio Americano. Beating the Raiders this year will be tough, yet if everyone on the team plays up to his potential, it can be done. lx -we-wa... Girls Can Can Crown As of this Writing, the girl's softball team has not yet started their season. But Coaches Kohler and Taylor said that their team had a very good chance to win the league this year. They stand to easily better last year's 4-4 record.
