Wait till next year The young Cougar team came through last season with a 2 win, 8 loss record. Never before has a team with as poor a record played such good football. Many highlights brought Cougar rooters to their feet. For example, Dan Mahoney scampered 80 electrifying yards for a touchdown against Encina. Defensively, the Cougars played some outstanding football also. The Cordova game typified the defensive unit's ability to sparkle. The Cougars all but shut down the Cordova attack in the first half.
