rm. -...MW Registration erun Edwin O' Harra developed a unique system of instructing his classes, bottom right. Utilizing photographs of all but one of the United States, the Canadian provinces, and parts of lVlexico, he taught slow learners through a slide program. Three articles Written for professional journals exemplified his creativity along with the novel he recently completed. Math teacher, Eli McCullough kept track of the World Series while Charles Green concentrated on Del Campo's football game, top right. Charles Green taught Biology and Chemistry and liked to ride his three speed bicycle. l-le biked 184 miles across the Nevada highways with a 12 year old boy. Eli McCullough coached Del Campo's Varsity basketball teams to a first or second place standing for the last five years. Betty Vogel labored on paper work at Del Campo's first spring registration, bottom middle. She was offering courses in sculpture, ceramics, and photo which began zero period. She also created some clay works which were displayed in the Little Gallery. Foods and clothing teachers, Maude Transue and Alice Baker fleft to rightl, discussed the merits of a biscuit recipe as compared to another, top left. Maude Transue and her husband have traveled to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and plan to visit Russia in the summer of 1974. Alice Baker, on the other-hand, likes to paint and draw and she also enjoys the quiet seclusion of fishing. Joy Williams and Leslie Lindsay discussed a registration problem as business teachers Cfar left and far rightl, Lynda Gantenbein and Gwen Schmidt looked on. Both these teachers play bridge and like to travel. Lynda Gantenbein toured Europe and enjoys shorter camping trips to the California coast. Gwen Schmidt has been to Hawaii and plans to go to New Zealand and Alaska when she retires in June. She is from Idaho were she first learned to ski. Sue Mowrer, bottom middle, joined Del Campo's teaching brigade to teach Special Education when she moved from Champaign, Illinois at the beginning of second semester. She enjoys horse-back riding, water skiing and also likes to teach summer school.
