S calpel Please Dorothy Reardon, with brain in hand, and Jim Reese posed as nurses when Jim l-lenrie performed major surgery on George , middle top. Dorothy Reardon expended a lot of time in her swimming pool at home. jim I-lenrie, originally from Utah, liked to fish, hunt and travel when the opportunity arose. Jim Reese bicycled to Del Campo all the way from Fair Oaks Blvd. and Marconi Ave. He has canoed down the North Fork of the American River many times and has never dumped over. He used to live on a farm ranch at Palmdale in the Mojave Desert and anticipates owning a farm in the future. Paul Merriam's musical interests ranged from playing the trumpet in the Sacramento Valley Symphonic Band singing in the Sacramento Chorus, to arranging pieces for the Del Campo singers, top left. l-le liked to play tennis and basketball and wanted to take up snow skiing. Aside from issuing band-aids to students with scrapes, providing thermo- meters to flushed patients, and patrolling the over-crowded rest areas, nurse Ethel Noguchi also worked on the never-ending files, middle top. Librarian Lois McMullen officiated as time-keeper when business teachers lleft to rightj Laura Bell, Joan Melnicoe, and Elaine Jacobsen took a time-write, left bottom. Laura Bell is from Fresno and has lived all over the Orient. She taught military high school and took flower arranging courses in Japan. Joan Melnicoe got off the ground by flying planes with her husband. She hunted ducks when they were in season and became a zealous skier when winter set in. She visited jails and prisons with rookie policemen during her Easter vacation in order to familiarize them with their future surroundings. Elaine Jacobsen was a McGovern delegate at the 1972 Democratic Convention in Florida and found church and community work very rewarding. Antoli Kozlelski expanded the Regional Occupational Program at Del Campo, middle bottom. His new position dealt with briefing students on the different job opportunities. l-le liked to sky-dive and said that it was actually one of the safest sports since a jumper has two parachutes. Jeannie Taylor was del Campo's only four year Counselor. She was advisor to C.S.F. and puttered with antiques by restoring and re-conditioning them. Seated in the coffee room in back of the library were lleft to rightl Betty Wick, Gloria Williams, Evenlyn Blanton, Margaret Medved, Madelin Thomas, Lucille Morris, Christine Findley, Virginia Bibb, and Roslyn Gross. These individuals helped run the offices and library smoothly and efficiently. right bottom.

Pointers John Bohatch, left, and Arlan Sanders reviewed the parts of the engine during after-school hours, top right. John Bohatch instructed Auto Shop and Arlan Sanders taught electricity classes with the exception of one Auto class. He also entertained customers at Sam's Stagecoach lnn on Hwy 50 by playing the banjo. Science teacher, Robert Kobrocles outdoor interests encompassed seasonal duck hunting, fishing, and spirited rock- hounding, bottom left. Valerie Himes bottom right, beamed when her Citrus Heights volleyball team finally got one point. In addition to her English classes, she had the time- consuming but rewarding task of heading up the school Yearbook and Images staff. While Bill Kimball announced the activities and scores at Sports-a-rama, PE. teachers Harry Kawahata and john Eaton anticipated the outcome of the Izzy Dizzy Race going on below them, top right. This yearly Battle of the Classes is organized and run by the men and women coaches of the PE. department. Home economics teachers lleft to rightl, Marilyn Herman and Mary Onderko listened to lrene Swope discuss her deep interest in Yoga at the Annual Faculty Christmas Party, bottom right. The cooking students prepared the goodies for the event. lrene Swope instructed junior and senior Girls PE.
