lndustrial Arts teachers fleft to rightl Arlan Sanders, Frank Ford, and Rohert Thompson eyed the speaker at their department luncheon.They taught Auto Shop, Mechanical Drawing, and Metal Shop, respectively. Waiting for the ball to drop over the net was JoAnn Walter, Middle left, at one of her Monday night volleyball games. She, along with Sheri Knaak and Valerie Himes, participated in a Citrus Heights Park District league which ran from mid- October to mid-December. Aside from that, she taught freshman and sophomore English. English teacher Harry Griffith flashed a proud smile in front of the picture he created, top middle. Entitled Red Harvest , it is one of a series of three paintings depicting the different harvest colors that he exhibited in the Faculty Art Show.

Caught In The Act l-luddled in the rain were math teachers fleft to rightj Richard Hogge, lnez Peper, Harry Miller, and Sam Funner, top left. lnez Peper was the newspaper advisor and taught a variety of courses which included English, Algebra, and journalism. She loved to collect unusual antique bottles and garden in her huge backyard. Harry lVIiller didn't consider teaching driver's training a chore-but enjoyed working with the young student drivers. Sam Funnt-r's interest also centered around cars. He liked to repair and re-condition them. Besides being an all-around outdoorsman with his family, Richard Hogge led the freshman basketball team this past season. Margaret Hill was one of four administrators that appeared at the mid- term graduation ceremony. As vice- principal, she was kept busy with the student activities, faculty, and administrative problems, bottom left. Staged on the drama steps, bottom right were English teachers, frow l, left to rightl, Lorena Lindh, Evelyn Williams, and Barbara Jonesg Crow Z, left to rightj Julia Ward, Lois Franchimone, Ruth Rogers and Martha White. Lois Franchimone was one of a few teachers from Del Campo who participated in a belly dancing class at the San Juan YMCA. She spent some of her sunny days rafting down the American River. Lorena Lindh and Evelyn Williams enjoyed the comforts and conveniences of fine dining with their families. Barbara jones indulged in the unusual pastime of mushroom hunting when whe went hiking in the woods. Martha White had a Golden Retriever puppy that whe trained and she was kept busy with her own children's various activities. Ruth Rogers took over the position of advisor to the lnternational Exchange Club. Julia VVard kept on her toes by square dancing in a social dance club.

x 3 Eyes eye Roger Dangerfield, the newest addition to Del Campds staff, pointed out an event at Sports-.-X-Rama to junior counselor, Richard Hrungraber, bottom middle. He assuined his position as sophomore counselor this past fall. Looking on were Mrs. Brungraber and VVilburta Darnielle, senior counselor. Coaches fleft to rightl john Zupan, slim Harris, Roger Riley, and joe Cavallaro were absorbed in the senior's electrifying spirit at the Sports-A-Rama, top right. Barrett teacher, jim Harris and Chemistry teacher, Roger Riley combined their efforts in working with the football team. Vvhereas, social science teacher, joe Cavallaro instructed the wrestling team. Ken Smith, middle right, kept the 1973 VVorld Series tuned in as he watched one of Del Campo's football games. He coached the basketball team and taught five math courses consisting of Geometry, Math Analysis, and Advanced Topics of Nfath. Hill Martin, left, was fascinated with the Freshman class's elation when they were awarded the Spirit Trophy at Del Campo's first indoor rally, bottom right. General outdoorsman and science teacher, Fred Simmonds, has been at Del Campo since its second year. He has yacationed in Nlexico five times and hopes to drive the length of the Baja Peninsula in the near future.
