Cardiac Arrest Concentrating on the mounting pressures of a Del Campo vs. Bella Vista football game were, top center, Ken Berry, Don Blankenship, and John Zupan. As Varsity football coaches, they were able to participate with the team as well as being involved spectators. Don Blankenship also taught opportunity classes while Ken Berry and John Zupan were boys' P.E. instructorszileft. -lack Schafer organized the faculty art show held in the Little Gallery this year. He was advisor to the Art Club which sponsored this exhibition. Colleen Anderson was welcomed back to her social science classes after a leave of absence, during which she gave birth to a baby boy. As shown top with Bonnie Bowman, her interaction with students was apparently unaffected by the one year's absence. Shown in the picture, bottom right, Wayne Geri had to put up with a bit of stubbornness as he took his children to a Saturday Del Campo football game. Qutside of coaching swimming, teaching English, and being a timekeeper at the Cougar basketball games, he was an ardent football fan and attended most of the Del Campo games this year. wr-M,

Monkeying around on the uneven bars were Cleft to rightl jean Klienke, Gary Summerhays, Sandra Berry, and Eve Thompson, top left. jean Klienke enjoyed camping on weekends and making candles at home. Gary Summerhays became Del Campo's new Varsity soccer coach this year. He is a terrific athlete and displayed his ability in flag football, basketball, and volleyball for a church league and excelled in golfing. Sandra Berry instructed girl's P.E., coached the drill team and introduced a new unit called Weight Training and Conditioningn for junior and senior girls. Eve Thompson coached the girl's tennis team besides regular P.E. classes. Deanna Taylor, left, and Margaret Kohler took their turn working at spring registration for the Girl's P.E. department, bottom right. Deanna Taylor trained her shepherd dog and coached the girl's champion bowling team which came in first place. Margaret Kohler taught units of P.E. which included folk dancing, water ballet, and working on the weight machines. Spanish teacher Barney Jones was assisted by his wife while he filed cards at Del Campo's busy spring registration, far left,. He enjoyed the fresh mountain air and uncrowded conditions of snow shoeing. , at
