Disney Theme Prevails The homecoming theme was Walt Disney's, When you Wish Upon A Star. All of the halls were decorated with Disney characters or a magical scene. The front lobby was the site for the Magic Kingdom and Sleeping Beauty. Also, the stairs were filled with observers as the famous monorail hung high above. Thursday was Disney Character dress-up day. The school was clustered with Mickey and Minnie. The floats followed the theme well. The sophomores' float Pooh on the Maroons had Winnie the Pooh sipping from a jar of honey. The juniors had Dumbo flying over the Maroons. However, the seniors' Blow'Em Down float took first place. The float had the three pigs' straw house being huffed and puffed down by the mighty Barbs' wolf. Coach Schrader paces the sidelines, top left, as the football team looks on.
