The Student Council for this school year was led by Student Body President, Ernie Hanson, and spon- sored by Mr. Smith. The council was made up of a boy and a girl from each home room and elected the following officers: Bob Bartels, vice president, janet Holmes, secretary, and Jim Hutten, treasurer. The Student Council sponsored many school activi- ties to develop better school spirit, improve student- faculty relationships, and solve various school prob- lems. ERNEST HANSON Student Body President A few of these activities included: the Homecom- ing celebration, the first all-student assembly, the Mardi-Gras, Holiday Tournament Dance, and a flag selling project. COHENOVR Mrs. Mildred Fisher and Mrs. Lois Cfohenour, who in the student office act as ''jacks-of-all-trades, al- ways have a pleasant smile for exeryone. They are willing and ready to help the students whenever they can. Mr. Morley has been here for two years as Director of Curriculum. During that time he has aided the high school faculty in using new materials and new techniques of instruction in their classrooms. Mrs. Anderson has been here as Director of the Guidance Program and Counselor for girls for four years.
