Gaawnec! 70114 .-S' The class of 1950 has completed the bus1est year 1n h1gh school They are now on the1r own 1n the busy world As they look back over the1r last year at DTHS the semors may well be proud of the1r accomphsh ments At the beg1nn1ng of the year Eugene Peterson was elected to lead the senlor class w1th Delos Struthers, V1Ce pres1dent Donna Aver1ll, secretary, Fa1th Allen, treasurer, and George Pavel1ch, sergeant at arms The muslcal f1eld found many semors act1ve. Beverly Ward and Dorxs Stark were flag twlrlers, wh1le Barbara Graham and Janet Johnson held down posltlons as majorettes. X Stand1ng E Peterson Seated G Pavel1ch D Struthe rs From th1s class came the leaders of most of the clubs Carol Nelson Ida Oderk1rk Jud1th Pantt1la Don Struthers Jack Murray Vernon Plerce Vernon Peterson Evelyn Anderson John Buehler and Dorothy Z1egler led the many organ1zat1ons through a successful year Harvey Newqu1st was elected student body pres1dent for 1949 1950 November found a group of busy sen1ors work1ng on the1r prom wh1ch had as 1tS theme The Old Larnphghter Other class act1v1t1es 1nc1uded the senlor play wh1ch was g1ven ln the spr1ng. A large group of sen1ors worked very hard to make a success of th1s dramat1c adven ture.
