The choir and band councils, composed of stu- dents from each grade represented in both choir and band, are actually the governing bodies of their respective organizations. Any problem, dis- cipline or otherwise, is usually referred to these groups, and their decisions are carried out. ln ad- dition to their governing duties, they' plan the various social functions held throughout the year. Both groups helped plan the choir and band trips which were taken this spring. The band made a two-day trip to Charlotte, Michigan, for an ex- change concert, while the ninety-five-voice choir toured Chicago, South Bend, Valparaiso, and La Porte.
