B .421 - 1 1, - 1. as Since schools are often judged by their con- btw, i duct, Defiance High School has been proud of ' the good sportsmanship upheld by the efforts of our cheerleaders. -.ZH Constant cheers of we're with you team heard throughout the year were led by our ever faithful girls in the white and blue. They have welcomed our opponents and have given our team the un- J ' failing support which they deserved. Because of the interest of the student body in backing up their teams, the Pep Club was formed once again. As every good team must have a mascot, so must DHS, and with this idea in mind, Billy Bulldog was introduced. Much credit should be given to these girls, who, together with the student body and Billy Bulldog, have made it possible for Defiance High School to attain a top rating in sportsmanship.
