We, the class of '52, presumably of sound minds and trained memories, have trod the halls of Defiance High School for four brief years, and realizing that all things come to an end- that another group will take our place, wrestle with the same problems, and make their bid for fame as we did - we, having acquired certain intangible and incorporeal attributes which we would like to pass on to those who come after us, do individually make the following bequests: I, Ioann Ashbacher, will my ability to go steady for more than one week to Shirley Ott. I, Loretta Barker, will my last name to Leon Seig. I, Victor Batt, will my boxing ability to Cauliflower McPug. We, Eva Bauer and Barbara Beatty, will our jobs as car-hops to anyone with strong arches. I, Harley Bodenbender, will my ability to be- have in class to lim Allen. We, Arlene Beindorf and Maxine Rolf, will our quietness to Gary Rohrbaugh. I, Nancy Bouvier, will my place in Senior Ensemble to Carol Holley. I, Mildred Bradner, will my love for the Navy to Ioyce Marckel. I, Dixie Brand, will my artistic ability back to the cave man. I, Kay Briggs, Will my ilair for the dramatic to Bette Davis, who never won an Oscar either. I, Barbara Brown, will my interest in Michi- gan to Dixie Mast. I, Betty Cromly, will the influence I have over basketball players to Mr. Gecowets. I, Zora Culler, will my snappy black eyes to any girl who is having boy trouble. I, Marilyn Diemer, will my position as band leader to Bob Dietrick. I, Ronnie Diemer, will my technique with women to Iim Bayliss. I, Donna Engel, will my ability to get boys to Nancy Hohenberger. I, Robert Ernsberger, will the part in my hair to Mr. Henkle. We, Carol Eversole and Mary Fessel, will not give up two certain Sherwood boys. I, Kenneth Erman, will my fighting '35 Ford to anyone who can afford to feed it oil. I, Dorothee Evritt, will my last name back to the mountain. I, Shirley Frisinger, will my giggle to anyone who will have it. I, Roger Florence, will my skill as a tight rope walker to Dick Wiehe. I, Mary Flory, will my deep blue eyes to Roy Martin. We, Rose Marie Flory, Rose McCarthy, Rose- mary Reas, and Rosemary Lero, will the Four Roses back to the liquor company. We, Pat Froelich, Karen Slough and Sharon West, respectively, will not give up Iohn, Bob and lim, respectfully. I, Delores Froelich, will all the A's I didn't get to Pat Steel. I, Iim Gearhart, will my ability to get a 16- point average to Denny Reed. I, Ronald Greim, will my Charles Atlas phy- sique to Bill Shoup. I, lack Hale, will my ability to love 'em and get left to Gordon Draper. We, Iim Haller and Floyd Nicely, will our prowess and trapping skill to Alan Clinga- man.
