Associated with the Defiance Public Schools for thirty-eight years, her interest in the future citizens of Defiance continued after retirement as she became the first hostess of the Skylark Youth Center. In this capacity, she was not only director of the club but a mother and advisor to the club's many members as well, Miss Wilhelm filled this position for five years until her death in l95O, Her spirit most certainly lives on in the acts of those on whom she im- pressed her most gracious personality. 2 'X i M Igahqafer . 87, S IflI'llfl6L ' I A ef n I -' 5 X ?'
