Tall and very blonde is 'iAlta, one of the most efficient members of our class. She has been extremely active in all phases of school life and has displayed her dramatic talent in the school plays, She possesses a keen sense of humor and is always the life of every party. Her ready cooperation makes her one of the most popular members of the Senior class. With her various abilities we know Alta will be able to do well whatever she attempts. Boots' petiteness, cuteness, and neatness make her one of the true Deerfield Belles. Her spontaneous good nature has endeared her to us all. She is a ine, steady worker with a def termination to do any task set before her and, rarer still. a true friend. This year Boots became one of our prominent peppy cheerleaders, and we shall remember with gratitude the real school spirit that she exhibited. For four years she has been a loyal and helpful member of our class. In her earnest, thoughtful way she has done much to make her many friends very happy. Knitting has been a prob' lem for her, but we hope that some day she will be able to knit a pair of socks without too mL1ch difficulty, Pat plans to enter a nurses' training school next fall, and we are sure she will be a very competent nurse.

Doris' chief interest is her horse, which she rides daily. She has played in the school band for three years, and to that activity she has unselfishly given her time and efforts.
