Climaxing The fooTball season was The Homecoming Dance, AUTumn Nocturne. Pride filled our hearts as we crowned Jim Reed, King; and Sylvia HerTel, Queen. We cannoT leave This memorable period wiThouT calling forTh for a farewell bow our vivacious cheer- leaders: Sharon Ellis and KaThy Poole. Nor can we overlook our high-sTepping maioreTTes: Diane Schnei- der, PaT Viars, and Karen Koppenhaver, or The ready supporTers of The band led by The perky Wild Ca- deTTes under Sue Bovee. Ushering in The winTer monThs, baskeTbali aroused Tense momenTs as we cheered To vicTory The seven senior boys who, co-capiained by Al AIT and Biil Adams, onally supporTed The Team. Excitemenf again prevailed ThroughouT The Thrills of Parker performances, This year The greaTeET yeT. Following close on The heels of our varieTy show, came The eagerly anTicipaTed evenT of The year-our Trip To WashingTon, a Truly senTimenTal iourney. On warm spring days we inTenle waTched our boys round cinder Tracks or score home runs. And we musT noT Tail To honor The wise guidance of The Student Comcil, This year led by Terry Russelll Nor musT we neglecT The Tom-Tom sTaff and HS ediTor, Diane Schneider, To whom we exTend praise for publishing The besT newspaper ever. And of course, we salute our AnTlers STan and ChrisTy Wymond, ediTor, who meriT undispuTed recogniTion for a job well done.
