Bill Russell, Prexidefzl. em,-fu mn. We 1-fzetde Our senior class has left an indelible mark upon Deer Park High School. Our successes and triumphs have been the results of hard work done by such people as julian Pasick, President of Student Council and his able co-workers, Judy O'Boyle, Bernie Davis, and Carol Becker. Also, outstanding service is being rendered by Frank Theisen, who is President of Key Club and National Honor Society. Being messengers of news is the occupation of Tom- Tom editors, julian Pasick and Gail Greiner, while Carol Van Epps and Earleen Pruitt lead the Antler Staff. Those seniors taking an active part in football and bas- ketball have been Tom Schraffenberger, Denny Rouse, Danny King, Don Dean, and Ron and Don Kissinger. Helping to boost these boys to victory are cheerleaders Shirley Poole and Carol Van Epps and majorettes Nancy Becker, Sandy Wfoodley, and Lana Spicer. Topping off the football season was the crowning of Shirley Poole and Ron Kissinger as Homecoming Queen and King. Spring sports such as tennis, baseball, and golf bring to a close the year's sports activities. The Parkers, jr.-Sr. Prom and the Washington trip have helped to make this last year truly fabulous. The long awaited moment of Commencement is at hand and we stand looking into the future. The Class of 1958 will long be remembered as the best ever! Barbara Buckley, Tzwz.fzzi'e1',' Earl Utz, Vice-Pi'e.i'izXe11f. . Q. THE SENIORS OF TOMORROW . . . The Junior class has ranked high in Deer Park High School because of the enthusiasm and energy put forth by its members. A lot of the credit is due to our representatives to Stu- dent Council, who are: Mary Harmon, Secretary, Clark Ballard, Larry Brooks, Ruth Ann Matthews, and Martha Mechler. Also included are Bill Crawford, Athletic Man- ager, Arlene Sandman, Literary Manager and Mary Har- mon, Social Manager. Contributing to Deer Park's success in football and bas- ketball, were the following boys who were all on the var- sity team, John Weghorn, Ron Papania, John Greeley, Larry Brooks, Bill Crawford, jim Dykes, Dale Shuey, Bob Dunnigan. Leading these boys to victory were Carol Williaiias, cap- tain of the cheerleaders, and Gail Choate, and Sue Cor- nelius, and Arlene Sandman, while Barbara Buckley was a Majorette. Many Junior boys were elected to the Key Club, which is an outstanding achievement and honor. A large number of the members of our class partici- pated in Parkers and Vocal Highlights. The biggest event of the year was the Junior Prom which was a truly fabulous affair and really a night to re- inemberl Witli a wonderful year behind us, we are looking for- ward to an even better one, the one when we will be SEN- IORSF , f-wr rw , 4 K, . h,, ,J v, K f , C?
