The largesT number of iuniors ever To be recorded in Deer Park hisTory, mosT of us have aTTended Deer Park' aT leasT since our freshman year and we feel ThaT we have con- Tribufed To The expansion and worThwhile growTh of our school. ln all sporTs and acTiviTies we managed To ensnare a good full share of The spoT- lighf. The fall season found many iunior boys parTicipaTing in foofball. Six of These young sTalwarTs made The firsf sTring fighTing eleven . Along wiTh fooTball, TryouTs were held for The DramaTics Club play Tiger House . Two of our class received im- porTanT roles. Then we can'T forgeT The girls, members of The MaioreTTe Squad, who marched wiTh such precision aT The fooTball games. The iuniors who did noT belong on The foofball Team or who did noT march could always be found on The sidelines cheering our Team onward. Early in The fall we elecTed our class officers and home room represenTaTives To STudenT Council. To give us a good sTarT This year class rings were ordered before ChrisTmas Through our neighborhood ieweler, Mr. Krombholz. The fooTball season closed and Then The snows came and wiTh sleeT and ice came baslcefball. A number of iuniors found places on The varsiTy and Gh- reserve Teams. f g AT Chrisfmas Time we sponsored The ChrisTmas ' WK' Dance which Topped The yuleTide season. Several yy' X' oTher affairs were held affer baskefball games for i -4 The purpose of securing money. The besT social gwiyg .. .W WH-DCATS! evenT of The year was The Junior-Senior Prom which T QV was held aT The rusTic HarTwell CounTry Club, which 1, ' was decoraTed wiTh a TronTier moTif.
