LOIS WYSS Burdens become light when cheerfully borne, G.A.A. 1.2.3.4: F.H.A. 1,2,3,4g Junior Play 3, Yearbook 45 Pep Club 1,2, In August, 1956, thirty-one Seniors entered the doors of Dee- mack High School. Officers elected were President: Ron Viemont, Vice-President: Bob Chaffer, Secretary: Juanita Embry, Treasurerg Carol Washburn and Student Council Representatives: Gnile Connett, Judy Blair, Judy Eaton, Pat Thompson, and Margie Dilkey. The Seniors sought out to avenge the wrongs committed in their freshman year by initiating the freshman class of 1960. The Senior pictures were taken and received by many oh's and ah's. In March, College Day was held at Washington. Our class spon- sor was Mrs. Washburn. We are now looking forward to the play, class trip, and commencement. x I J gi gf? Dave Bartlett, will and bequeath my flat-top to Denny Bumgarner, my old worn-out football shoes to Bong-Bong Jacobs, and my old physics book to Paul Mitchell. Judy Blair, will and bequeath my athletic ability to my baby brother, Ellis, my good health to Kay Maybee, and my ability to hook a man falmostj to Bonnie Graham. Gary Bonham, will and bequeath my ability to stay home in the morning after a game to Ron Morgan and my position in the dirty sock club to Jerry Parmele. Marlene Carpenter, will and bequeath my red hair to Shiela Lipscom, and my job as librarian to Mike Lynch. Bob Chaffer, will and bequeath my books to Mr. Reed ffor starting fires,J a coke bottle to the sophomore biology class, and my nickname Curly to Roy Charles Bennett. Gnile Connett, will and bequeath my ability to drive with one arm to Keith Robison and my musical ability to anyone who needs it to make a better band. Martha Dallinger, will and bequeath my ability to get through high school to my brother, David, and all my fun Ihad in my senior year to Wilma Bellman. Mary Fairchild, will and bequeath my ability to talk in study hall without getting caught to Bev Fowler and Sharon Frailey, and my ability to sit through history class to Gary Heitzrnan. Lois Wyss, will and bequeath my height to Shortie Lowery, my athletic ability to Barb Mosi- man, and all my books to anyone who is crazy enough to take them. Melvin Marsh, will and bequeath my four periods under Mr. Egly to Bong Bong Jacobs. Ihope he can do well in bookkeeping. Juanita Embry, will and bequeath my short hair to Hazel White and Sharon Aeschliman, my grades to anyone who will benefit by them, and my love of sports to Sandy Helgen. Ron Viemont, will and bequeath my Presidency of the Senior class to Bong Bong Jacobs and my football position to Mickey Mouse McIntyre. Mary Kate Traylor, will and bequeath my baton and whistle to Jewel Sosamonn. May she enjoy it as much as Ihave. Bill J epsen, will and bequeath my noon hour smoke to Dan Neely, my Saturday nights to Mike Lynch, and my ability of getting into trouble to Jerry Parmele. Judy Eaton, will and bequeath my politeness fgiven to me by the Senior classy to Sharon Frailey and Charlene Wiegand, my loud voice to use at games to Joyce Fisher, and my grades to my brother, Gary, Carol Washburn, will and bequeath my position as,art editor on the yearbook to anyone who is silly enough to take it, my ability to get along with all the teachers to my brother, Roger, and my gym suit to any Freshman who wants a comfortable one. Richard Keyser, will and bequeath my nickname Gus to Bentley Busing and any awards that I may have to my brother, Darrel.
