The candidates were Tracy Rohrs, Fresh- man; Tammy Webster, Sophomore; Regina Rash, Junior; and Renee Miller, Senior. Renee Miller was pronounced as DCLA's 1979-80 Football Homecoming Queen. Renee was crowned by Senior Captain Kyle Hohmann. The other escorts were Scot Schuermann, Charles Tingley and Dan Hobbs, all Seniors. Kyle then escorted Renee to her place of honor followed by the rest of the can- didates. Once there the Queen and her court along with flower girl Amy Aldrich, and crown bearer Doug Webster watched the Eagles defeat Cherokee, 15 to 14. (1) The King candidates were Scot Schuermann, Mike Campo, and Dan Hobbs, all Seniors. (2) The Crown Bearer was Lonnie Lively, and the Flower Girl, Brandi Brigham. (3) It was announced that Seniors Bar- bara Kucera and Mike Campo were the 1980 homecoming Queen and King Mike then crowned Barbara (4) and gave her the tradi- tional kiss. (5 and 6) Mike then presented Barbara a beautiful bou- quet of roses (7), Barbara was then escorted to her place of honor.
