The Sophomore candidate was (?.) Lea Ann Werneke escorted by Ty Cardwell. The Junior candidate (2) was Linda Kucera escorted by Bruce Goodale. The Senior candidates were (3) Teresa Curl escorted by Co-Captain Ken Gaskill, Beverly Pameticky escorted by Co-Captain Robert Chace (4) and (5) Shari Fredrick escorted by Captain Dale Arthur. As the anticipation grew, Mrs. Theilen announced the queen— Shari Fredrick. Dale crowned our queen (7) then gave the traditional kiss (8) followed by the flowers. (9) The flower girl was Jana Black and the crown bearer was Robby Moody (6). The newly crowned queen and her court were escorted onto the Pep Club float. (10) The float was then driven around the field and the young ladies watched the remainder of the football game from there.
