The Drivers' Education car (and the teacher) barely managed to survive the attempts of the sophomores to drive. 3. A few loafers managed to spend most of their time down at the coke machine. 4. The Eagles Rip through the hoop to open the 1973 Homecoming game. 5. Wow! What a mess! 6. The cooks feed us nutritious meals. 7. The Home Ec class had many varied projects! 8. Ugh! Students have supported school programs by their participation and parents have supported school functions by their presence and in many instances have made invaluable suggestions for improve- ment. The Board of Education has given much time to planning and teachers have helped in many ways that go beyond their normal duties. Students, parents, board of education, and teachers have all pulled together and this book, which is a record of those efforts, will help to recall many pleasant memories as the years go by. The guest speaker was Durwood Keeton who is a defensive back for OU. He showed a film of the Big Red in action. The basketball trophies were put on display and decora- tions were made and put up by a comittee of mothers and the Pep Club. The meal was catered from Moody's Cafe and served by the ninth graders.
