U 'W I T .- it K si ' a asses Compete ln Crazy Competition The students of Deer Creek worked hard for a well deserved day of fun and games. The mini olympics provided such an outlet. All four classes competed in hand to hand competition for the honor of being pronounced the champions. There was a wide turnout for all events. Some had the legs for the mile relay, or arms for the football pass, or in some cases just a good sense of humor. Although volleyball seemed to be the most popular. tug-of-war and the life saver pass had lots of fans. Sunbathing was a frequent sideline sport. ln the end, the seniors came out on top, winning both the tug-of-war and the volleyball match. Seniors Darain Woolbright and Daniel Medley use their excellent team work to prevail over the underclassmen Qabovej. '35 I Mike Rosson fabovej stuffs his face during the pie eating contest in a vain attempt for the seniors. Jeff Uhl fleftj puts on a happy face during the long and drawn out simon says competition. Scott Lacina and Keith Liles ftop leftj win the three legged race for the junior class with their display of agility. .,17iL.

Dee Dee Dixon and Phil Copeland Caboveb are happy that Mrs. Jordan came to the prom. Dia Murry and Steve Rust Crop lefty take a break from the dancing long enough to pose for a picture. x J.K. Allred and Dina Musgrave prepare to dance the night away to the music of the band, the T-bones Cabovej. Kellie Bartness and Molly Bose Cabove rightj are hoping the prom will never end as they are having the time of their lives. Kelly Cornelius and Suzanne Wolfe Cleftj thank the junior class for working so hard to put on such a fantastic prom. 21
